Crime in Oxford is book 15 in the DI Gil Markham series by Catherine Moloney。 It is the first book I have read by this author and it read well as a standalone。 Markham inspires loyalty from his team， particularly his DS， George Noakes。 I liked both their characters。 George is a politically incorrect personality and Gil is likeable so quite a mix。 DI Kate Burton and DS Doyle join Markham and Noakes as they investigate a murder at the Reynolds Museum in Oxford。 I liked the characters and liked the Crime in Oxford is book 15 in the DI Gil Markham series by Catherine Moloney。 It is the first book I have read by this author and it read well as a standalone。 Markham inspires loyalty from his team， particularly his DS， George Noakes。 I liked both their characters。 George is a politically incorrect personality and Gil is likeable so quite a mix。 DI Kate Burton and DS Doyle join Markham and Noakes as they investigate a murder at the Reynolds Museum in Oxford。 I liked the characters and liked the setting。 An enjoyable book。 。。。more
